Aux Cerna

About

Aux Cerna is a trio composing at the intersection of classical and electronic music — consisting of Jimmy Stofer (synths, bass, piano), Peter Jacobson (cello), and Thomas Lea (viola, violin). The music is built from piano, strings, and space — restrained, patient pieces designed to be listened to closely rather than passed over.

Based in Los Angeles, the group has released their album Textures (2022) and forthcoming album Botanical Studies (2026).
